Returning goods when a custom tax/duty applys.
When making a return from outside the UK, buyers must have the original CN22 form on the outside of the packaging and be marked as a "merchandise return". An accurate value of the goods only (not postage fees) must be declared. If this is not done, any taxes due are to be paid by the buyer and will be deducted from the refund. If the refund does not cover the taxes, the return will not be collected and no refund or replacement will be issued.
Returns
Under EU law a full refund (including postage) must be paid, to countries within the EU. If the customer has paid for an upgrade to their postage, only the basic postage costs will be refunded, not the upgraded postage. This does not apply to countries outside the EU where only the price of the goods will be refunded. The buyer must inform the seller that she/ he wishes to return an item/ items before posting.
I have purchased a bag and purse/wallet set, can I return one item and keep the other?
Yes, as long as you follow the return conditions of the shop, you can return part of your order, however, if you have received a discount for buying more than one item, the discount will become void and the item you are keeping will be charged at the full price.
I ordered an item for a gift and it hasn't arrived in time, can I cancel it?
Once an item has been posted, I cannot cancel it. Unfortunately, I cannot control any delays with the postal service or customs. You can however return unused items, please see my returns policy.
